Trip to Davenport

Took the ferry across  to Davenport, an island community 10 minutes across an inlet from Auckland..  It was adorable with the most charming home, some of which were very ornamental victorian  The residents must have the night show of all time with the Auckland skyline all lit up.

We had lunch in a new bistro with an Italian flavor, The Olive tree.  Cliff had quite the conversation with the owner on the care of Olive trees.

Enjoying Sauvignon Blanc at every opportunity.  Lots of waling and enjoying all that we see

Observations:
Cotton night gown one could buy at Target for 69NZ$ on sale which is about 1-1.  Reason being is they don't import things made in China as best I can tell.  Their clothes are not enticing nor their shoes.  The city is not full of fashionistas and tattoos are alive and well in this part of the world.  Also their TV is almost all US shows.
